Armand Van Helden & Riva Starr ‘Step It Up’ on new collaborative track


House music legend Armand Van Helden has linked up with eclectic Italian DJ and producer Riva Starr and UK soul favourite Sharlene Hector on new single ‘Step It Up’.

Combining euphoric piano chords, rave-evoking breakbeats and Hector’s soaring vocals, ‘Step It Up’ successfully channels a feel good old-school house vibe with serious crossover appeal.

Discussing the collaboration, Van Helden said: “I’ve known Riva Starr since forever ago and we always wanted to collaborate. Glad we did, couldn’t have been more fun!”
