Armand Van Helden’s ‘I Need A Painkiller’ gets MK Treatment


MK has remixed Armand Van Helden’s vs Butter Rush ‘I Need A Painkiller’ – and you can listen to it now on the Premier League Training playlist.

Another unique production from Armand – who has thrown down huge remixes himself with the likes of Daft Punk, The Rolling Stones, Sam Smith & the genre-creating monster Tori Amos – ‘I Need A Painkiller’ grabs you instantly has been given the treatment by MK who’s known for his 2017 summer smash ‘17‘.

New York based Van Helden was born in Boston to a Dutch/Indonesian father and a French/Lebanese mother. He travelled around the world as a child spending time in Holland, Turkey & Italy. He bought a drum machine when he was still a teenager and started DJing two years later.

Armand’s huge releases include, ‘Witch Doktor‘, ‘Flowerz‘, ‘My My My‘, ‘I Want Your Soul‘, ‘Hear My Name‘, ‘When The Lights Go Down‘, ‘NYC Beat‘ & ‘The Funk Phenomena‘ plus the chart-topping classic ‘You Don’t Know Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ with Dizzee Rascal.

Summer 2017 saw MK perform dates in the States and launch his first mini Area10 festival in Ireland, with tickets selling out in record-breaking time. With headline slots also at We R Festival, Melt in Germany, his own Area 10 stages at Creamfields, SW4 and Croatia’s Defected Festival, it has been a successful time.
