Biffy Clyro have released their latest single, ‘End Of’, from the eagerly anticipated new album ‘A Celebration of Endings’, which will be released on May 15.
The album is available to pre-order from and will be released on vinyl, coloured vinyl (exclusive to select indie stores), picture disc, CD, cassette and digital formats.
‘End Of’ follows the record’s first single ‘Instant History’, which made an instant impact on its release. Blending their explosive attack with apocalyptic synths and bombastic beats, the track was premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World and was added straight to Radio 1’s B-list. It also went straight to the A-list at Absolute, Radio X and Virgin.

‘End Of’, which was premiered by Zane Lowe at Beats 1, is filled with the aggression of old school Biffy, but the out-of-nowhere piano break and a final rally of rampaging riffs matches their current unpredictable flair.
The new album finds Biffy Clyro – frontman and guitarist Simon Neil and the Johnston brothers James (bass) and Ben (drums) – pushing everything they do best to the next level.
They’ve excelled at delivering some of the most captivating choruses of their career alongside explosions of sheer visceral intensity and some stirring, evocative orchestration. That eclectic quality keeps things thrilling unpredictable, especially as those traits often all emerge in the course of a single track.
