The Seagulls are currently flying high, having successfully avoided the drop from the Premier League during the 2018-9 season. Having appointed brand new manager Graham Potter following the shock dismissal of Chris Houghton, the club will be looking to become Premier League regulars under his leadership.

Brighton and Hove Albion FC were formed in 1901 following the collapse of both Brighton United and Brighton and Hove Rangers. Originally named Brighton and Hove United, the United was dropped in favour of Albion shortly after the club’s formation. The club has competed in a total of 7 season of top tier football since its inception, and reached the FA Cup final in 1983, which they lost (following a replay) to Manchester United. They are still yet to win a major trophy, with the final in ’83 being their nearest brush with glory.
