Callum Beattie wants to ‘Talk About Love’ on new single from debut record

Callum Beattie is back with the infectious new track ‘Talk About Love’, out now via 3Beat.

Beattie’s highly anticipated debut album People Like Us will be out May 15 2020 and is available to pre-order now.

Self-written single ‘Talk About Love’ is an upbeat guitar led production which transcends into a joyous chorus. Callum’s raw, distinctive vocal sings about being unable to expose his emotions.

However, being in a loving relationship changes this and he becomes open about his adoration for the other person. Callum explains, “’Talk About Love’ is a song I wrote about my own insecurities. It’s a song about finding it hard to express emotions towards certain people for fear of letting my guard down and what that would lead to.”

The new single follows on from Callum’s incredibly poignant track ‘Some Heroes Don’t Wear Capes’, which was a heartfelt tribute to his father. The re-release has been well-received with the track garnering over 400,000 Spotify streams and Beattie’s monthly listeners increasing by over 200%.

2019 was an exceptional year for Callum Beattie. He supported Razorlight and The Kooks on their respective UK and European headline tours. Beattie also performed at BST Hyde Park (Robbie Williams) and completed a European busking tour over the summer, where he gave away any money made to the homeless in each city.

He also played sold-out headline shows in Scotland and spent a month in Edinburgh playing live at various locations during Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
