Calvin Harris releases latest tracks under ‘Love Regenerator’ alias

Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum selling recording artist and producer Calvin Harris has share the latest tracks from the second part of his Love Regenerator project.

The tracks arrived three weeks after the first release of the Love Regenerator series, with Love Regenerator 2 available everywhere now and including the aptly titled tracks, ‘The Power of Love II’ and ‘Regenerate Love’.

Speaking about the decision to start releasing music under a new moniker to Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 last month, Harris said “I didn’t want to put it under my stage name that’s known. I started feeling almost negative connotations with that name.”

“It’s not my name. My name is Adam. The fake name has been around for a long time and it’s served me well. It’s still around but there’s just a little bit of negativity from me creeping around that name. Let’s shepherd in a new little thing and see what happens with it.

“I am now solely in the business, and have been for the last four years, of making music to make me feel good in the hope that it makes other people feel as good, or even just a little bit as good and improves their day.”

Heavyweight producer, DJ and songwriter Calvin Harris stands as the figurehead for modern dance music, having broken world records and dominated the charts with his many hits. As one of the most successful artists of all time, he has collaborated with global stars including Frank OceanPharrell WilliamsRihannaKaty Perry, and Ellie Goulding to name a few.
