Craig David announces the release of his new single ‘I Know You’, featuring alt-pop giants Bastille – and you can listen to it now on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.

The launch of ‘I Know You’ is the latest track to come from his forthcoming seventh studio album, ‘The Time Is Now’ (released January 26, 2018), following on from ‘Heartline‘ which so far has received over 15 million Spotify streams.

As well as Bastille, ‘The Time Is Now’ sees the now six-time MOBO Award winner   collaborate with JP Cooper, AJ Tracey, Ella Mai, Kaytranada and Goldlink.

“I’ve been a Bastille fan for a long time and we’ve been waiting for the right moment to collaborate,” says Craig on ‘I Know You’ – which is also a new addition to the Fantasy Premier League and SoccerAM: New Music playlists.

“I’m so excited to release this track and hope you love it as much as I do. Hearing Dan’s voice on this kind of record is a special moment, when we perform this live its going to absolutely go off, and I can’t wait to play it in my TS5 set this summer.”

Dan from Bastille adds: “We’ve always been huge fans of Craig’s music and have become mates over the past few years after playing some shows together, so writing a song together in the studio felt completely natural.

“We had so much fun making ‘I Know You’ together, and I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”

Both Craig and Bastille will mark the release with the debut live performance of the single on BBC One’s new weekly music show, ‘It Sounds Like Friday Night’ (BBC One at 7:30pm), where Craig will also be co-hosting the show with Greg James.

The past six months has seen Craig not only complete another 10-week, sold-out TS5 Pool Party residency at Ibiza Rocks Hotel, but also perform three sold-out UK live dates, including a show at London’s iconic Brixton Academy.
