Darlia release their new single ‘Beam Me Up’ on May 19th through Ignition Records. Produced by Darlia’s own Nathan Day and Frank Colucci, ‘Beam Me Up’ is about the catharsis of songwriting. Said Nathan of the track:
“It amazes me how brutally open you can be in songs and not even wince when it gets put out into the world.”

It’s been a long two years for Nathan Day and Darlia. After a string of heart-bursting singles and bruised rock brilliance they released ‘mini-album’ Petals, a swirling melee of ’90s grunge, rampant melodicism and high-voltage noise.
But although it felt like a summation of kinds, the glorious crown that capped off a spell of acclaimed releases and live-wire performances it was far from the end game. Petals was a prologue.
‘Beam Me Up’ is the follow-up to their triumphant return single ‘Ballad of Black & White’, which The Line of Best Fit described as “a summer anthem in the making. Rock and roll at its most addictive and sprawling, the track radiates with a nostalgia for sun-soaked fields and pints in paper cups. With this new single, Darlia are showing the full extent of their ambitions.”
Having recently sold out their headline show at London’s Camden Assembly in just a day, Darlia will be touring the UK in Autumn 2017. Dates include Birmingham, Bristol, London (Scala), Leeds and Newcastle.
Ahead of their headline tour, they’ll be supporting Twin Atlantic on their UK tour in May and will also play a number of festivals including The Great Escape, Community Festival (w/ Catfish and the Bottlemen) and Tenement Trail.
