Dido shares empowering break up song ‘Give You Up’

Dido shares the latest single from forthcoming album Still On My Mind, the incredibly empowering and moving ‘Give You Up’.

The track was written by Dee Adam, Si Hubertand and Australian duo The Opposite Kids (Denny Thakrar and Rob Agostini).

“It’s just so perfect,” Dido said of the track.“It’s a good break up song, where you’ve been hurt but feel strong. It’s that point in a relationship where you are pulling yourself out of the gutter and deciding that it’s their loss, which I can totally relate to.”

Still On My Mind is Dido’s fifth studio album and was written and recorded in England, a result of the fruitful and incredibly natural production/songwriting partnership with her long term collaborator and Faithless founder Rollo Armstrong.

It’s set to be released on March 8 on BMG and will be the 47-year-old’s first new record in five years.

The multi-million selling singer will also be embarking on her first tour in 15 years in 2019, where she will play songs from the new album alongside her classic hits such as ‘Thank You’, ‘Here With Me’‘White Flag’ and ‘Life For Rent’.

The European leg of her 27-date World Tour begins on May 5 in Prague and ends with a show at London’s Roundhouse on May 30, which will be followed by a North American tour in June.
