Dido releases ‘Hurricanes’ single alongside 2019 album and tour announcement

Dido is back with ‘Hurricanes’, the first single taken from her forthcoming fifth studio album.

‘Still On My Mind’ is set to be released on March 8 2019 on BMG and will be the 46-year-old’s first new record in five years.

The multi-million selling singer has also announced her first tour in 15 years, where she will play songs from the new album alongside her classic hits such as ‘Thank You’, ‘Here With Me’, ‘White Flag’ and ‘Life For Rent’.

Listen to ‘Hurricanes’ by Dido on the Official Premier League Music Playlist on Spotify.

The European leg of her 27-date World Tour begins on May 5 in Prague and ends with a show at London’s Roundhouse on May 30, which will be followed by a North American tour in June.

‘Still On My Mind’ is Dido’s fifth studio album and was written and recorded in England, a result of the fruitful and incredibly natural production/songwriting partnership with her long term collaborator Rollo Armstrong.

Dido describes the making of this album as “an absolutely magical experience”, adding “I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to music, just that rush like you don’t need anything more than this”.
