Faithless’s poignant ‘I Need Someone’ (ft. Nathan Ball & Caleb Femi) has been given a spine-tingling update by esteemed Brazilian Producer & DJ Alok.
The sublime ‘I Need Someone’ quickly became a fan favourite on Faithless’s stunning album All Blessed – the legendary dance act’s first LP in ten years. Opening with Nathan Ball’s mesmerising vocal, Alok brilliantly layers growling brass and stabbing synth notes to create a euphoric reworking.
On Alok’s remix of ‘I Need Someone’ Faithless said: “Brazilian beats master Alok delivers a tasteful pumping house remix, putting the emotive Nathan Ball vocal centre stage. With its hypnotic synth pads, and deep brass stabs creating an epic atmosphere, this remix is destined to be the peak track of DJ’s sets across the board.”
