Throughout the 2021-22 Premier League campaign, millions of fans will not only be keeping an eye on their own team’s fortunes every weekend, but also that of the players they’ve selected in the hope of achieving Fantasy Football supremacy.

The world of fantasy sports gaming has continued to grow across the world year on year. The Premier League‘s own FPL game is the go-to format for fans of the most popular domestic football competition in the world, with over six million players active this year.

The competition for bragging rights extends to the world of music as well, with a whole host of artists having competed in Fantasy Football for a long time. For the second season, Shoot Music and the Premier League have brought them together to compete in the Official FPL Music League, with over 40 artists and bands signed up for the league. In the first year of the league during the 2019-20 season, Scotty Stacks from The Manor was crowned as the first FPL Music League Champion. Scotty came close to defending his title in the 2020-21 season, however he finished 2nd behind Ross Millard of The Futureheads, who took a dominant lead at the top midway through the season and never let his grip on 1st place slip, putting up 2,554 points.

Ross is back to defend his title, with dozens of other familiar faces also returning alongside some new names – including Royal Blood, The Wellermen and Vistas – all of whom are looking to claim the title of FPL Music League Champion.

League leaders The Horrors and 2019-20 Champion Scotty Stacks of The Manor both scored the same number of points in Game Week 5, with the former maintaining their 21 points gap at the top. The Academic move above Sinead O’Brien into 3rd, with Rak-Su moving into the Top 5.

The rest of the Top 10 is filled out by DC Breaks, The Manor‘s Jonny Dutch, Ed CosensThe Wellermen – who move into 9th thanks to a Team of the Week performance – and Amy Macdonald.
