Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Farruko has unveiled the official video for the very special reworking of his own hit single ‘Krippy Kush’ – and you can listen to it now on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.

The track – of which the original has amassed over 90 million Spotify streams – has dominated charts all over the world, while the official video release of the Nicki Minaj & Travis Scott version attracted over 20 million YouTube views within a fortnight.

In the Latin Region, the single – which is also a new addition to the Soccer AM: New Music playlist – reached the Top 5 on radio charts in Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Chile, Guatemala, Peru, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and Costa Rica.

Having started his career in reggaeton, Farruko fuses elements of hip-hop and Spanish-trap to create an artistically fluid sound, having previously collaborated with the likes of J Balvin and Daddy Yankee.

His recent album ‘TrapXficante‘, featuring today’s top Latam players (Bad Bunny, Anuel AA, Fetty Wap, Jacob Forever), followed up his platinum-certified album ‘Visionary‘, which included hit singles ‘Chillax‘ (6x platinum), ‘Obsesionado‘ (4x platinum) and ‘Sunset‘ (4x platinum).

Having gone viral with the #KrippyKushChallenge, which started when fans, and celebrities such as Lebron James and Arturo Vidal, began uploading videos imitating the dance from the single’s official music video across social media, ‘Krippy Kush’ has carved a reputation as a timeless anthem featuring Jamaican producer TarikRvssianJohnston and rising star Bad Bunny.

The latest release with Minaj and Scott follows Farruko’s 25-date US Tour and recent European tour, where the producer played a run of 10 dates across the continent, ending in London at the Coronet Theatre in December.
