Dublin’s Fontaines D.C. have shared fan favourite single ‘Liberty Belle’, taken from their debut record released last year.
The video celebrates an incendiary 2019 for the band which saw them release their debut album ‘Dogrel’ to critical acclaim, earning plaudits from a vast array of major publications, receiving nominations for esteemed awards and appearing in a number of album of the year 2019 lists.
Speaking about the track, frontman Grain Chatten says, “‘Liberty Belle’ is a lament to the death of old Dublin, written by people who couldn’t afford the new one.”

Leading up to the release of Dogrel back in April last year, the band released a series of critically acclaimed singles, including ‘Boys In The Better Land’, all of which garnered considerable support from radio with the band A-listed at BBC Radio 6 Music for their last single ‘Big’.
They’ve also received backing from a vast range of international press outlets, with the band featuring in a number of end of year lists and receiving high praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, Q, NME and more.
