George Ezra shares ‘Shotgun’ from number 1 Album

George Ezra reveals new single ‘Shotgun’, the latest track to be lifted from his UK Number 1 album ‘Staying At Tamara’s’ – and you can listen to it now on the Premier League Music playlist.

‘Staying At Tamara’s’ is George’s second UK Number 1 album, hitting the summit in February with the biggest album week sales of the year so far. The album also features lead single ‘Paradise,’ which peaked at Number 2 in the UK singles chart and has now been certified Gold, and ‘Hold My Girl’, ‘Pretty Shining People’, ‘Saviour,’ and ‘Don’t Matter Now’.

Previous album ‘Wanted On Voyage‘ (2014) is certified 4x platinum in the UK, gold in the US, and was amongst the top 10 biggest selling artist albums in this country in both 2014 and 2015, reaching #1 in the Official UK Chart and spending 122 weeks in the chart overall. It earned George nominations for four BRITs, one BBC Music Award and an Ivor Novello.

George returns to the UK for a number of summer festivals, including headline slots at Standon Calling, Boardmasters and Truck Festival, ahead of a full UK tour in the autumn, including his biggest to date at The SSE Arena, Wembley.

Not content with a number 1 on the Official UK Album Charts, George is now also a chart-topping podcaster, with his series George Ezra & Friends shooting straight to number 1 on the iTunes Podcast Chart on launch.

George Ezra & Friends is a unique new podcast series created by the multi-platinum-selling singer, guitarist and songwriter in which he spends an extended period of time with a musician friend in an often intimate, funny and revealing one-to-one conversation.

Series 1 recently wrapped up with a no holds barred, open, honest and funny chat with one of music’s all time legends, Elton John, which followed previous episodes wherein George went one to one with Ed Sheeran, Lily Allen, Sam Smith, Craig David, Rag’n’Bone Man, London Grammar’s Hannah Reid and many more.
