George Moir and Blossom Caldarone have today shared their collaborative new single and video ‘Lonely’, out now via Infectious Music.
Described as a gifted animator, writer, performer and producer, George Moir has already seen support from The Sunday Times’ Breaking Act, Dork Magazine, BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and Jack Saunders, BBC Introducing and Radio X.
Accompanied by Blossom, a wonderful musician, storyteller and songwriter, the new track sees their confessional songwriting marry in a mutual understanding of the complexities of maintaining relationships in lock down, tugging at the heart-strings for a wistful bedroom pop slow jam.

Discussing the single, George says “Creating ‘Lonely’ has been one of the most wonderfully bizarre experiences of my professional life. I bumped into Blossom online through a mutual friend, and we thought it’d be cool to try and work together.”
The two also worked together on creating the artwork and quirky video, landing on a saturated and papery, Windows 98 aesthetic. “George and I wrote ‘Lonely’ after a discussion about keeping in touch with people during lockdown; the difficulties that it posed and how we were adapting to it” says Blossom.
“It was fresh in our minds when we wrote the track over Zoom, a process that heavily inspired the artwork and video. Writing a song with someone is so enjoyable and the visuals George created are the perfect and witty reenactment of our co-writing, in its new founded COVID friendly configuration!”
