George Moir continues his 2020 in triumphant stride by sharing a brand new cover of ‘God’s Plan’ by Drake, via Infectious Music.
For the cover, George reimagines the trap hit for his colourful and imaginative lo-fi pop world. His version is playful and jovial, and a bold statement of his ability as an artistic innovator and adventurer.
About the cover George says: “It’s very new for me to put my voice to a song I haven’t written, my music has always been a deeply personal thing, like my personal diary, so it was a challenge to try and keep it feeling real and genuine while still staying true to the original.

George continues, “It’s a modern classic after all! Although it’s about Drake and his life, I really connect with the message of the song, and it was such an honour to be able to make my own version of the track.”
Already backed by the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, BBC Introducing and Radio X, George Moir is an exciting example of an artist able to utilise everything around them.
Inspired by contemporaries like James Blake, Tom Misch and Rex Orange County, George’s music is as innovative as it is feel good, and as unique as his backstory. In his own words, it’s organic, wholegrain and good for your gut. It’s all these elements that come together to form the quirky world of George Moir, providing a pathway for him to become one of Britain’s most intriguing and hardworking artists.
