Grace Carter shares a brand new piece of music in latest single ‘Don’t Hurt Like It Used To’.
It’s released off the back of her previous single ‘Heal Me’ which was released to much acclaim earlier this year.
‘Don’t Hurt Like It Used To’ sees Grace in fine form as she once again uses her arresting voice to convey her deepest resolve in her fight against any long term emotional damage that complex relationships can lead to.

Having kicked off the year at #3 in the BBC Sound of 2019, Grace went on to headline the BBC Introducing stage at SXSW before heading out on her own sold out UK and European tour this spring.
Grace was also tipped by the likes of MTV, YouTube Music, Amazon and Ticketmaster in their coveted one-to-watch lists.
Having previously toured with Haim, Dua Lipa, Jorja Smith, Mabel, Dermot Kennedy and Rag’n’Bone Man, Grace grew up in Brighton listening to the likes of Lauryn Hill and Nina Simone, which is evident in her powerful songwriting, which shows emotional and musical maturity.
She began songwriting during her school days, and at the age of fourteen was already performing her own material in public. One year later, Grace had converted her bedroom into a makeshift recording studio and when she reached Music College she taught herself the piano by watching YouTube videos.
