The Heavy share ‘Fighting For The Same Thing’, another taste from their forthcoming new album Sons, due for release on May 17.
Lead by triumphant horn lines and grooving guitars, ‘Fighting For The Same Thing’ is a celebration of funk with a strong message about progress through unity.
Kelvin explains; “’Fighting For The Same Thing’ is a testament to the work required to make the relationships we consider important in our everyday lives more wholesome and fulfilled.
“Whether it be family, soulmates, partners, local council or governments, the sentiment is to be aware of the decisions and events that effect our idea of a better day and to be a part of those decisions. When we become complacent and comfortable is when things fall apart.
“Throughout history, coming together and fighting for what’s right has always made the future brighter for generations to grow into. Action is always required.”
