Spanish producer HVME and LA Based rapper 24kGoldn team up to release ‘Alright’, their new offering featuring American rapper Quavo.
With his latest release ‘Alright’, HVME brings together two of the biggest stars of the hip-hop scene – 24kGoldn and Quavo – to bring a vibrating feel-good summer anthem. This is created through its atmospheric synth melodies on the one hand and driving trap drums on the other. 24kGoldn and Quavo describe brief moments of attraction that can become something more between two people for one night, before everything is over the next day.
For his previous project, HVME re-worked Travis Scott‘s ‘Goosebumps’ from 2016 and landed one of the biggest breakthrough hits of last year. His energetic EDM flip of the US rap track has so far had over 700 million streams worldwide, spending four weeks in the UK Top 10 (8 Top 20) going gold in the UK and 20 other countries and platinum in nine.

Behind the mysterious name HVME (pronounced like the English “Hume”) stands a young producer born in Murcia, south-east Spain. His name is an abbreviation of his civil name, in combination with the name of the Scottish philosopher David Hume (1711 -1776), with a “V” replacing the “U”. HVME has been the nickname his friends once gave him years ago.
