JLS release first record in eight years and share ‘Postcard’ single

JLS have released their latest single, ‘Postcard’, taken from their eagerly awaited new album, JLS 2.0, which is out today via BMG.

The release of ‘Postcard’ follows a string of new JLS music which is storming both the chart and radio airwaves, their initial comeback track ‘Eternal Love’ is currently A list at BBC Radio 2 as well as Aston, Marvin, Oritsé and JB recently dropping instant grat ‘Day One’.

‘Postcard’ is a stripped back track which sees the bands seamless harmonies and vocals sit front and centre, all whilst making a nod to their pop roots with an upbeat and instantly anthemic beat.

JLS are a multi BRIT and MOBO Award winning group that have become renowned for their ability to cross multiple genres with both pop and RnB influencing their music. ‘Postcard’ along with their recent releases exemplifies this as each single differs greatly in style and tone whilst managing to maintain the signature JLS sound they have become synonymous for.

After an eight year hiatus, the band’s new album JLS 2.0 marks the return of one of the UK’s biggest and best selling British bands to date. The new album also cements their status as a mainstay in modern music with features from an all-star array of musical heavyweights with Steve Mac, Wayne Hector, Ed Sheeran, TMS and Lost Boy all credited.

Aston, Marvin, Oritsé and JB are currently performing across the UK as part of their 29 date UK and Ireland Beat Again Tour.  Since announcing their musical comeback they have also made a series of performances on a number of TV shows including Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The One Show as well as this year’s National Television Awards.
