Kungs Teams Up With Olly Murs & Coely To Make ‘More Mess’

Kungs, the French DJ and producer presents his new track ‘More Mess’ ft. British pop star Olly Murs and the Belgian rapper Coely – and you can listen to it now on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.

The song is very much in the Kungs style club track – pop & funk, melodic, cheerful, uptempo, with a soul and brass atmosphere.

“It’s great to be a part of Kung’s latest single ‘More Mess'”, says Murs.

“I was a huge fan of his single ‘This Girl’ so to be asked to collaborate on this song was great fun. It’s a really upbeat song with a great horn line, and something I wish I’d written myself!”

Kungs is currently in the thick of a large European tour before travelling to Canada, USA, Japan and performing at London’s South West Four Festival on August 26.

Revealed last year with his global massive hit ‘This Girl’ (#1 in 45 countries and +1 billion streams) and the debut album ‘Layers’ (certified international diamond record with +550 000 sales), Kungs is 20 year old Valentin Brunel.

Hailing from the South of France, Valentin had been obsessed with music and experimented with a number of instruments having discovered soul and funk from his parent’s record collection.

Growing up, he also listened to blues and rock before spending hours teaching himself Ableton live whilst still in school, forging a new love for house music.

His very first tracks on Soundcloud received an overwhelmingly positive reaction, and soon he was getting official remix requests – his Lost Frequencies remix clocked up 30 million streams on Soundcloud and near double that on YouTube.
