Labrinth shares new Sky Premier League theme ‘Something’s Got To Give’

Labrinth returns with his brand new single ‘Something’s Got To Give’ released through SYCO Music.

Taken from his eagerly anticipated second studio album, due for release later this year, the new track is just a taste of what to expect from the UK musician and has already secured a huge sync partnership with Sky Sports and is being used as the key theme for their coverage of the 2019-20 Premier League season.

It comes fresh from the success of latest track, ‘All For Us’ featuring Zendaya, which featured on hit HBO show Euphoria where he is also credited as the series composer.

‘Something’s Got To Give’, meanwhile, is a sinuous, throbbing dance tune, charged with brass. Labrinth said, “I wanted to create a song in the journey of my album that encapsulated the feeling of betting your whole life on something, and being close to giving up before the big payoff.”

Labrinth rose to fame in 2010 when he co-wrote and sang on Tinie Tempah’s #1 UK Single, ‘Pass Out’. Since then, he has become a household name in the music industry with eight top 10 singles and another #1 Single ‘Beneath You’re Beautiful’ featuring Emeli Sande.

He has collaborated with some of music’s biggest artists across different genres including Nicki Minaj, Eminem, The Weekend, Ed Sheeran, Stefflon Don and Giggs as well as boasting over one billion streams.

The Hackney-born musician is back in multiple ways and this upcoming album is the beginning of a new chapter.
