The Manor are back with a brand new track, ‘Out ‘Ere’ – released on their own Lagboat Records label and the follow-up to their ‘Weak Days, Strong Nights’ EP – and you can listen to it now on the Fantasy Premier League playlist.
“Out ‘Ere” is a blistering fusion of UK garage, grime and rap – the sound of modern Britain. The track comes hot on the heels of an incredible sold-out show at Kentish Town Forum that saw a special guest appearance from old friend Example.
Prior to The Forum, The Manor have sold-out Islington Academy, KOKO and Brixton Electric, as well as major festival performances at Wireless, Festival and Lovebox. They were once of the biggest draws at Reading & Leeds Festival last year, playing to massive crowds at the 1Xtra Stage, second only to J Hus. They’re already confirmed for later this year are shows at Bestival, Ibiza Rocks, SW4 and Rize as well as their own regional tour.
Beginning as three friends from Beckenham, scheming on their fag break during college, MCs Danny Graft, Scotty Stacks and Jonny Dutch started making music with a fierce sense of local pride and a love of their community.
Starting to put on shows – essentially parties for themselves and the audience that mixed the highs of club life with the intensity of the best gigs – they started building a serious rep. This is what local life sounds like; Inner-city hustle mixed with local love that’s swiftly caught the attention of tastemakers including Streets’ founder Mike Skinner, Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1, NOISEY, CLASH Magazine and BBC R1Xtra.
The Manor, whose previous tracks include ‘How U Feelin?‘ and ‘The Sesh‘ are carving their names ever more widely into a scene that recognises them as creating some of the most interesting and relevant music coming out of the capital.
