The Manor have followed up ‘Out ‘Ere’ with a statement of intent, ‘Tyson Fury’ ft. Donae’o – and you can listen to it on the Fantasy Premier League playlist.
‘Tyson Fury’ is a menacing, unorthodox burner and a suitable prize-fighter of a release from One of the most infamous acts in London.
The track explores the idea of the antihero, a theme the band have tapped into throughout their career and something that has been reflected in their own unconventional rise to where they are today.
Donae’o brings his infectious funky house roots to this track building his ever-growing collaboration list, having previously worked with the likes of JME, Don-E and Ghetts.
Beginning as three friends from Beckenham, scheming on their fag break during college, MCs Danny Graft, Scotty Stacks and Jonny Dutch started making music with a fierce sense of local pride and a love of their community.
Starting to put on shows – essentially parties for themselves and the audience that mixed the highs of club life with the intensity of the best gigs – they started building a serious rep. This is what local life sounds like; Inner-city hustle mixed with local love that’s swiftly caught the attention of tastemakers including The Streets’ founder Mike Skinner, Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1, NOISEY, CLASHMagazine and BBC R1Xtra.
With the kind of waves The Manor – whose previous tracks include ‘How U Feelin?‘ and ‘The Sesh‘ – are making, this is undoubtedly one of the most exciting emerging acts in the UK right now.
