Liverpool based artist MENTIS drops ‘Excuses’ featuring Kate Wild

Liverpool based artist MENTIS drops the official video for his undeniable summer smash ‘Excuses’, featuring spaced out vocals, thumping kicks and a catchy M1 synth top line, reminiscent of classic 90s house anthems.

The video stars Lauren Socha (Misfits) and Ewen Macintosh (Keith from The Office) as a struggling DJ & her manager trying to make her big break in Ibiza. With early support including BBC Radio 1’s Party Anthems, the track has been massive reactive to Shazam since release and has been building week on week.

‘Excuses’ has also been a massive hit across streaming platforms, peaking at #1 on the Apple Dance trending chart and holding #1 for an incredible six weeks, has spent over a month on the Spotify viral chart and is now top 50 on Apple Music and top 20 on iTunes. It has since picked up additional plays & radio support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance playlist, Kiss Fm playlist, Kiss Dance playlist & more.
