The Murder Capital release new single ‘Green & Blue’ alongside announcing a new string of UK headline tour dates for July 2019.
Ahead of these dates the band played three shows at The Great Escape and a London headliner at The Lexington, which was sold out six weeks ahead.
It comes after a month that has seen them fill The Electric Ballroom at just 7pm for an opening slot to IDLES, and a series of last minute shows that have swelled through word of mouth.

Praise for the Dublin punk outfit has come from a number of outlets, with So Young saying that “Immediately The Murder Capital emit a passion that will turn heads, but importantly they are a voice with something to shout about, and that could truly cement them as something to cherish.”
Loud & Quiet added that “There is a story that emanates through The Murder Capital’s biting voice. It’s caustic punk with widescreen ambition; music that sounds and feels like where it came from.
NME have also spoken highly of the band’s sound, saying “The Murder Capital’s bolshy, violent sounding post-punk would make a fitting soundtrack to a city ten times more dangerous than the Irish capital.”
