Stax Records will release ‘Tearing at the Seams’, the highly anticipated new album from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats on March 9 – and you can listen to lead single ‘You Worry Me’ on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.
‘Tearing at the Seams’ follows the band’s critically and commercially lauded self-titled debut album, which has now sold over a million records worldwide and is which is certified GOLD in the U.S., Belgium, Switzerland Switzerland and the Netherlands, Platinum in Canada and Silver in the U.K.
The lead undeniably anthemic single, ‘You Worry Me’ – which is also a new addition to the Fantasy Premier League playlist – is the first taste of a record from a band who have been playing together, every night for the last two years. A fuller, more resolved sound than we’ve heard from the Night Sweats before, it is representative of a band perfectly in sync with each other, showcasing a finesse and musical maturity found throughout the album.
For the past two years, the Denver-based band has performed extensively across the globe headlining shows and major festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Newport Folk Festival, Glastonbury, Monterey International Pop Festival and dozens more.
The band – whose hit single ‘S.O.B.’ is now certified Platinum – also made an immediate and lasting impression on late night television including performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (twice), The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CONAN and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
