Neon Waltz Deal ‘DREAMERS’ From Debut Album

Neon Waltz have announced the release of their new single, ‘DREAMERS’ on Ignition Records – and it’s available to listen to now on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.

Stepping up a campaign of singles and relentless touring, the John O’Groats-based six-piece return once more with the strongest indication yet of their talent, desire and preparedness to prove any rumours of their prodigious musical gift beyond any doubt.

A precursor to Neon Waltz’s long-awaited, upcoming 10-track debut album, ‘Strange Hymns’ (out August 18), ‘Dreamers’ spares the listener nothing in three and a half minutes of pop that chimes with the unbridled hope and idealism of youth, accommodating rushing guitars, carousing  fairground keyboards and a vocal that surges with intent. Like all pulse-quickening anthems it reaches for the lapels, dances you round the room and is over all too soon.

A product of Neon Waltz’s album sessions on the South Coast of England during autumn 2016, ‘Dreamers’ was produced by Mikey Rowe and Andy Britton and follows Heavy Heartless’, I Fall Asleep’ and Perfect Frame’ into a world that has so far welcomed the band’s breathlessly crystalline, chiming, guitar-forward pop.

The swelling sense of affection for Neon Waltz extends to national radio with repeated plays for ‘Heavy Heartless’ recently via Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, both Chris Hawkins’ and Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6 Music shows and across evening Radio X programmes.

Looking beyond a summer of hotly-anticipated festival appearances, including a homecoming at Wick’s Sounds of the Summer Festival on Sat 19 August 2017, Jordan Shearer (Vocals), Darren Coghill (Drums), Kevin Swanson (Guitar), Jamie Swanson (Guitar), Calvin Wilson (Bass) and Liam Whittles (Keyboards) have confirmed yet another 1,400 mile round trip to play The Moth Club, London on Wed 30 August 2017.
