NOISY, the surefire ones-to-watch south-coast trio today release their new EP ‘I Wish I Was A…’, accompanied by a high-octane music video the for title single, out now via Island Records.
The trio have also been announced to support the likes of YUNGBLUD, You Me At Six and Bad Sounds on their respective 2021 tours.
Lead single ‘I Wish I Was A…’ tells a tale about growing up in front of screens and wishing your life away as a result. Narrated by the clamorous sound that has become synonymous with NOISY, it tells of the frustration of living in a world full of idealisations.
Listen to ‘I Wish I Was A…’ by NOISY on the Official F1 Tracks playlist on Spotify.
Shot in Kiev pre-lockdown, the artistic music video is set amongst the backdrop of an abandoned art gallery. Featuring a collection of shots, including that of a chaotic fist fight and a swirling police car, it is the perfect visual accompaniment for the energising, riotous sounds of the track.
Making music with no boundaries, Worthing-based NOISY comprises singer/rapper Cody, guitarist Connor and producer Spencer, a three-piece hybrid of hooks, beats and escapism.
Having spent the majority of lockdown in their makeshift studio in Spencer’s house, the band are more than ready to release new music and have also developed a newly found appreciation for life.
Their new EP follows the customary theme of escapism, whilst also simultaneously trying to see the bright side.
