Pixie Lott surprised Year 5 students at Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Primary School in Poplar as she took part in Premier League Writing Stars.
The session, which was led by coaches from the West Ham United Foundation, saw the singer-songwriter help the youngsters write poems to enter into the Writing Stars competition, open to those in Key Stage 1 and 2.
First the 26-year-old, who is a big Hammers fan, spoke and answered questions about resilience – the competition’s theme – before taking part in a rhyme battle, in which she was defeated by 10-year-old Alfie.
Pixie recently released her new single ‘Never Forget You’ ft. Stylo G, and you can listen to it now on the Fantasy Premier League playlist on Spotify.
Pixie also spoke more about her day with the children of OLSJ, her latest track’s inclusion on the FPL playlist and her beloved Irons.
