Australian singer-songwriter Sam Fischer drops ‘This City’ single

Australian musician Sam Fischer has shared the re-release of his single ‘This City’, out now via RCA.

The track has proven to be a quick success on streaming services, having been streamed over 30 million times already on Spotify since its release.

It’s the latest release from the 28-year old, who was a featured artist on British DJ collective Black Saint‘s single ‘Everybody Wants You’ earlier this year.

Listen to ‘This City’ by Sam Fischer on the Official Fantasy Premier League playlist on Spotify.

Sam was born outside of Sydney, Australia and was writing songs by age 12, and whilst growing up he trained classically on saxophone and violin.

After graduating from the Berklee College of Music in the early 2010s, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in earnest on a solo music career while also taking part in city’s a cappella scene. By 2016 he had released his first single, the romantic, R&B-informed ‘Lean’.

He followed the next year with singles ‘Same Friends’ and ‘Getting Older’, as well as being featured on Opia’s swaying single “Secrets.” His debut EP, Not a Hobby, was released in 2018.
