Get behind the Tartan Army ahead of their EURO 2020 games this summer by following and streaming the Scotland Football Songs Playlist on Spotify.
It’s been a long wait for Scotland supporters, but 23 years on since their last appearance at a major championship finals, they secured their spot at EURO 2020 with a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout victory against Serbia in November last year. Goalkeeper David Marshall‘s save in sudden death got the party started for Steve Clarke‘s side as they celebrated ending two decades plus worth of pain in qualifying.
One year on from when it was originally scheduled to take place, the European Championships begin on Friday June 11 with Turkey facing Italy in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico. In what will be a first for the tournament, matches will be hosted in 11 cities across the continent.
With the long awaited competition now just days away, skipper Andrew Robertson will get the privilege of leading his team out in front of what should be a partisan crowd for their opening Group D game against Czech Republic on Monday June 14, with the country’s national stadium, Hampden Park, hosting two of their three group games.

The Tartan Army also get a chance to cheer their boys on at home in their final group game against Croatia on Tuesday 22, with a trip to Wembley to face their auld enemy England sandwiched between those clashes on Friday 18.
Ahead of every game this summer, whether you’re one of the lucky thousands who get to head to Hampden with your Saltire flag in hand, watching at a pub with your friends or getting the snacks and drinks in to watch in the comforts of your own home, get in the zone for all the games by listening to the Scotland Football Songs playlist on Spotify, packed with over 100 tracks to get you pumped up.
The playlist is topped by Spanish duo Baccara‘s 1977 UK chart topping hit ‘Yes Sir, I Can Boogie’. The track has been adopted as the Tartan Army’s anthem ahead of the tournament after videos of the squad celebrating their qualification with the tune on in the dressing room after the Serbia game.
Tartan Army favourites including the national anthem ‘Flower of Scotland’ – as performed by Edinburgh folk group The Corries – ‘We’ve Been Everywhere Man’, ‘We Have A Dream’ and ‘Viva Scotland’ are featured alongside a plethora of tracks from some Scotlands biggest musicians, including The Proclaimers, Travis, Calvin Harris, Emeli Sandé, Biffy Clyro, Amy Macdonald, Gerry Cinnamon, The Snuts and more.
The Scotland Football Songs playlist also includes a host of the biggest new tunes courtesy of Shoot Music, including the Official EURO 2020 song ‘We Are The People (feat.
