Shed Seven release another track from their hugely anticipated new album ‘Instant Pleasures’ in the shape of ‘It’s Not Easy’ – and you can listen to it now on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.
‘It’s Not Easy’ is another huge anthem, which showcases Rick Witter’s incredible vocals and captures the true essence of the band and ‘Instant Pleasures’ – which is released November 10 on BMG and, when announced, topped the ITunes pre-order charts.
The latest track was the initial spark which opened the floodgates for ‘Instant Pleasures’. The years of boxed away ideas all came flowing out back to their roots, like they did when they were first starting out.
The band have just sold out three intimate shows this Autumn including a London stop at Scala, where they shot the artwork for ‘Instant Pleasures’, and two very special hometown shows at Fibbers, York.
One of the leading lights of Britpop with two gold albums and 15 Top 40 singles under their belt, Shed Seven’s ‘Instant Pleasures’, which is produced by legendary producer Youth from Killing Joke, who’s previously worked with other esteemed musicians such as Kate Bush, U2, Depeche Mode and The Charlatans, is their first new music in 16 years and has seen enough pre-orders to have made the album a Top-10 chart album if it had been released any week so far in 2017.
Shed Seven – originally formed in 1990 – are Rick Witter, Paul Banks, Thomas Gladden, Alan Leach and Joe Johnson.
