Drum and Bass duo Sigma have followed up their recent single ‘Sell My Soul’ featuring Maverick Sabre with the brand new single ‘Rest Of My Life’ featuring RnB/soul star Shakka, out now via 3Beat.
‘Rest Of My Life’ sees Sigma incorporating dancehall and ragga into their trademark sound, producing a feel-good hit-in-the-making, allowing Shakka’s soulful vocals to take centre stage.
Speaking about the single and working with Shakka, Sigma say: “Shakka is such a unique talent. Great ideas, amazing vocals and such a sick writer. We sat with him for a few days in the shire and cooked up a few bangers, ‘Rest Of My Life’ being one of them.”

They continue, “The track is about when two people meet each other and have that instant connection that you just know you have to keep exploring, you can imagine spending the rest of your life with that person, whether that be romantically or friendship. It’s essentially an upbeat love song.”
Sigma are one of the only UK Dance acts to make it big in the world of pop – selling over 100,000 copies of their debut LP Life and amassing 450 million YouTube views – without losing relevance in the Drum and bass scene where the London-based duo spent a decade, pre-fame.
Their performances vary from gritty DJ sets to live band tours, which have included headline slots at the O2 Academy Brixton, 18,000-strong singalongs at Reading and Leeds and even a live collaboration with Take That at Hyde Park.
This flexibility extends to their singles’ collaborations, which range from Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah to Birdy and Quavo, with 11 tracks consecutively playlisted by BBC Radio 1 and 2, and two #1 singles.
