Check out the new single taken from their debut No.1 album
Following the huge success of their self-titled No.1 debut album, Blossoms have revealed a brand new video for Blown Rose. A fan favourite at live shows and one of the stand out tracks on the album, the Sunday Times describe Blown Rose as an “absolute beauty”. Listen to the single now on the Shoot Matchday Playlist.
Blossoms are an indie pop band from Stockport, Greater Manchester. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitar), Charlie Salt (bass, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals). They were on the BBC’s Sound Of new music list for 2016 where they finished in fourth place.
The band take their name from The Blossoms public house at the corner of Bramhall Lane and Buxton Road in Stockport. Donovan heard both Ogden and Salt mention how apt Blossoms was as a band name on separate occasions, leading to the naming of the band as Blossoms.
The video was directed by Francis Wallis and was shot at Hammerwood Park – a house once owned by Led Zeppelin and the location of the opening scene of their film The Song Remains The Same.

Blossoms’ eponymous record was met with mostly favourable reviews, and spent two weeks at No.1 when it was released in August – it is the first time a debut album has spent more than one week at No.1 from launch since 2014. Following the release of the album the band have now gone on to reach over 10 million streams on Spotify.
