The Snuts have today released their highly-anticipated debut album, W.L., featuring a fresh take on fan and live favourite ‘Glasgow’.
It follows their euphoric live stream show from Stirling Castle last week, where they played the album in its entirety. Featuring their current Radio 1 playlisted single and love song for the ages, ‘Somebody Loves You’, the hip-hop driven ‘Elephants’, the hauntingly heartfelt anthem ‘Always’ and main stage festival ready hymn, ‘All Your Friends’, the album has been entrancing critics all over.
From their day jobs working in construction to grafting the toilet circuit, blood, sweat, tears and countless shows have been poured into the album. “W.L. is our lifetime work. It’s a collection of milestones and melodies that time stamp a dream we had becoming a reality.” Lead singer Jack Cochrane reflects. “It’s a record about being true, loving and resilient.”

Hailing from Whitburn, West Lothian, The Snuts have well and truly found their stride on W.L.. Produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Phoenix, M83) and recorded at the Firepit London, the album encapsulates the band’s journey from four working class kids growing up with a dream in Whitburn, to becoming one of the UK’s most exciting and vital bands of the new decade.

Adored up and down the country for their uninhibited, sweat-drenched live shows, the band also announced a UK tour alongside the release of ‘Somebody Loves You’ earlier this year. The tour, initially penned in for May and June, has been re-scheduled between September and November this year and includes three sold-out dream shows at Glasgow’s iconic Barrowland.
The Snuts are: Jack Cochrane (vocals/guitar), Joe McGillveray (guitar), Callum ‘29’ Wilson (bass) and Jordan ‘Joko’ Mackay (drums).
