You Me At Six continue their emphatic return with the release of their brand new single ‘Back Again’, launching as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’ on BBC Radio 1.
The track is taken from their new sixth studio album ‘VI‘, out October 5 via AWAL, releasing under their new Underdog Records imprint.
As demonstrated with previous tracks ‘IOU’, and ‘3AM’, You Me At Six are on a roll, showcasing multi-dimensions to the band’s evolution.
‘Back Again’ is no exception, with the five-piece exhibiting their versatility once more, replacing what was once distortion and big rock riffs, for indie-pop prowess, resulting in what is set to be one of this summer’s break out anthems.

On the sounds and themes to their new single, You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi said, “‘Back Again‘ is quite a departure for us sonically.
“We took some risks, we wanted to soundtrack people’s weekends.
“It’s a song, lyrically, about recovery, but not from vices.
“From feeling lost within yourself. Feeling back, your friends & family feeling like they got their person back from adversity.”
