Thirty Seconds To Mars ‘Walk On Water’ With First Track In Four Years

Thirty Seconds To Mars have released their first song in four years, titled ‘Walk On Water’ – and you can listen to it now on the Shoot Music – New Releases Playlist.

After lighting up stages around the world this summer on a sold out tour, ‘Walk On Water’ is the first single from the multi-platinum selling band’s highly anticipated forthcoming fifth studio album.

A track about freedom, about persistence, about change and about fighting for what you believe in, ‘Walk On Water’ is a call to arms but also full of all the optimism and hope that is such an integral part of the American Dream.

The song will have its world television debut in a can’t-miss performance on this year’s MTV VMAs on August 27. The song’s sweeping chorus has also seen it join in collaboration with US sports channel ESPN to use on their college football programming for the 2017 season. ‬‬

‪Jared Leto‬‪ first hinted at new music in a dramatic teaser videounveiled on his Instagram in June. The record, set for release on Polydor Records, follows the band’s 2013 studio album ‘Love Lust Faith + Dreams‘, which debuted inside the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.

In the UK, ‪Thirty Seconds to Mars – Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Tomo Milicevic – have achieved 800,000 album sales, 1 x Platinum album, 1 x Gold album, 2 x Silver albums and 5 x UK Top 40 singles.‬‬
