Scottish alt-rockers Twin Atlantic release ‘Novocaine’ single

Twin Atlantic have released their brand new single ‘Novocaine’, taken from newly announced album POWER.

Falling into the love-song-to-his-wife category ‘Novocaine’ is a love song with a racing, adrenalised synth-rock throb and pound.

“It’s the most focused, autobiographical song on the album. And we’re trying to tap into our LCD Soundsystem fandom,” says lead vocalist Sam McTrusty.

Listen to ‘Novocaine’ by Twin Atlantic on the Shoot Music New Releases playlist on Spotify.

McTrusty adds, “That’s something that has basically never gone away. They’re a band that use guitars and electronics in a way that’s quite wholesome and never feels contrived.”

POWER will be the Glaswegian alternative rock four piece’s first new release since their Top 10, critically acclaimed album GLA in 2016.

They have built up a reputation one of the UK’s best live acts, which comes after doing three sold out shows at Glasgow’s Barrowlands Ballroom, a headlining show at SSE Hydro Arena, and many sold out UK tours over the past 8 years and across 3 albums and an EP. Their 2015 album Great Divide was also a Top 10 album, peaking at #6.
