White Lies share latest single from digital re-release of ‘Five’ record

White Lies today share a brand new track ‘Falling Out Without Me’, that follows on from the release last month of ‘Hurt My Heart’.

The two tracks, recently recorded with US producer Andrew Wells (5 Seconds Of Summer, Fall Out Boy) in Los Angeles, are also an addition on the digital re-release of Five which is out now whilst also available as a limited pressing double AA-sided 7” single on white vinyl – 500 via the band’s website and 500 at the band’s forthcoming live shows.

Meanwhile, the band’s lyricist and bass player Charles Cave explains the tracks origins; “’Falling Out Without Me’ follows on the heels of Tokyo and having witnessed how our immersion into pure pop connected with our fanbase.”

Cave continues, “Come the summer and a gap in the touring schedule we decided to write and record two new songs.

“It’s a fairly abstract song about the feeling you’re losing yourself and becoming unhinged. Much like Tokyo, we wanted to write something with a lot of groove and a real ear-worm hook. It’s infectious, this one.”
