Fresh into the new year, White Lies are pleased to share new track ‘Tokyo’ along with the accompanying video.
Directed by long-time visual collaborator David Pablos, it was shot back to back with the bands previously released ‘Believe It’ video in Tijuana, Mexico at the tail-end of last year.
The triumphant synth-laden pop nous of ‘Tokyo’ encapsulates the trio’s unerring knack of penning a big tune and is a brilliant precursor to the imminent release of the band’s next album ‘Five’, which drops on February 1.

As the band explain; “Once again we were lucky to work with David in Tijuana to create what is our best video since ‘Death’.
“His unique knowledge of the area affording us access into some of the city’s most stunning and bizarre locations helps bring to life his vision of stories of love and loss.
“Where in the world would you be able to film a scene of the band sat on a four-story high nude woman? Tijuana, that’s where apparently! It resulted in our favourite collaboration with him yet.”
White Lies are Harry McVeigh (lead vocals, guitar), Charles Cave (bass, backing vocals) and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drums).
