A summer tune that is unapologetic in its energy and vibes, Wretch – one of the most respected and acclaimed lyricist & rappers in the UK music scene – is joined by two of the hottest-MCs in the game right now.
“Whistle was inspired by raving. This represents me on a night-out – light-hearted, vibes, fun,” says Wretch.
‘Whistle’ is produced by Rymez, the man behind Wiley’s #1 platinum-selling single ‘Heatwave’ and Wretch.
Wretch adds: “I’m a fan of Kojo & Donae’o, so I really wanted to jump on a track with them – We ended up pulling a triple threat! Making melodies for days…& night! I just want people to have as much fun listening to the song as we did making it.”
‘Whistle’ will be the lead single from Wretch’s forthcoming album. The song is a perfect way to introduce the next chapter in the Londonder’s career that has seen him rise to the top with three UK Top Five albums, including 2016’s critically acclaimed ‘Growing Over Life‘.
