Brighton based three-piece The Xcerts have revealed their brand new single, and album title track, ‘Hold Onto Your Heart’ – and you can listen to it now on the Fantasy Premier League playlist.

“‘Hold On To Your Heart’ was the first song we worked on with our producer Gary Clark and it’s a song that we had to write in order for me to create some closure around the end of a 5-year relationship,” said front-man Murray Macleod.

I’m not kidding when i say the words just poured out of me as if they’d already been written and it took just 15 minutes from writing the first line to recording the whole thing.

“Me and my ex partner experienced some ugly moments during the breakup but that’s not how i wanted to remember our time together, because our time together was beautiful.”

Recent single ‘Feels Like Falling In Love‘ was debuted on the Radio 1 Rock Show as its Rockest Record/track of the week and went onto go on the Kerrang!, Radio X and MTV Rocks playlists. It is also currently on 1.7 million streams on Spotify after only 6 weeks.

The band have also announced their UK headline tour in support of their new album across February and March 2018. If fans pre-order the album ‘Hold On To Your Heart’, they will get exclusive ticket pre-sale access for the tour.
