Released on 30th September on all major gaming consoles, the excitement from fans across the world for the latest edition of one of EA Sport’s flagship franchises is as great as fervent as ever for the 30th instalment in the franchise. As well as being eager to get playing as some of their footballing heroes and icons, one of the most anticipated elements of each game among supporters is the announcement of what tracks will grace the playlist of the game.

For over 25 years some of the biggest artists across countless genres have soundtracked the games, with indie darlings getting their first big break to worldwide sensations latest smash hits all featured. The obsession with each game’s sounds sparks debate among fans as to their favourite soundtrack and inspiring nightclubs hosting events celebrating the iconic sounds from across the history of FIFA games.

This season, the FIFA 23 Soundtrack delivers the ultimate celebration of diversity, discovery, and the best new music & artists in the world. Featuring over 100 tracks representing 34 countries, it is also the game’s most global soundtrack ever. The complete soundtrack is available now on Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music with Spotify combining all the tracks into a single celebratory FIFA 23 Playlist.

From the stands at La Bombonera, San Siro, and Anfield to the clubs of Ibiza, Barcelona, and Miami, the 57 tracks of the FIFA 23 Soundtrack deliver the sound of the coming year, including tunes from of Sport Playlists and Shoot Music’s favourite artists.

Some of our top picks from the soundtrack featured on the playlist include: Nottingham Forest fan and fast rising rapper Bru-C’s massive single ‘Playground’; US rappers Danger Mouse & Black Thought’s collaboration with Tottenham fan Michael Kiwanuka Aquamarine’ from their recently released debut album; Watford supporter and electronic artist George FitzGerald’s latest single ‘Passed Tense’, indie rock quartet Sea Girls’ latest track ‘Falling Apart’ and big new tunes from Gorillaz and Loyle Carner.

Wherever non-pros face off in a dirt lot, local pitch or asphalt playground, the gritty street-level vibe of the VOLTA FOOTBALL Soundtrack brings together 52 tracks of the world’s best hip-hop, grime, electronic and beyond, including one of Chase & Status’ biggest new tunes from earlier this year, ‘Don’t Be Scared’.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team will also feature custom FUT Kits designed by the likes of Phoenix, Jack Harlow, Central Cee, Pheelz, ROSALÍA, Labrinth and more, with additional kits to be announced during the season.

Along with a new soundtrack, the latest edition of the FIFA franchise introduces exciting new gameplay elements and features such as being able to take your country to international glory in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 tournaments, the addition of women’s club teams from England and France for the first time, improved gameplay and advances to technology on next-gen consoles and more.
