Australian indie-rock heavyweights DMA’S have continued their unstoppable run with their brand new single, ‘Killing Time’.
Fast-paced, euphoric and instantly infectious, ‘Killing Time’ is driven by a propulsive rhythm, embracing lyrics and DMA’S unmistakable sound, giving fans yet another taste of what’s to come from their self-titled album, set for release on August 21 via Wonderlick Recording Company/Sony Music Australia/RCA UK.
The self-titled album will also feature the previously released tracks ‘My Baby’s Place’ and ‘Heatin Park’. The most recent single ‘Hurracane’ debuted at #1 on Hot Hits Australia.

Written and recorded between their own studio in Glebe, Sydney and LA, this self-titled album represents a defining moment for the band, showcasing the evolution of their signature anthemic sound with fresh sonic textures. It’s highlighted by the band co-producing most of the record with Grammy nominated producer Lach Bostock (Mansionair), with help from Jimi Somewhere and Styalz Fuego.
The new album will see the band further build on their incredible history that has seen them deliver four critically acclaimed albums, Hills End (2016), For Now (2018), THE GLOW (2020) and How Many Dreams? (2023), each landing towards the top end of the ARIA Top 10, and with the last 2 albums, THE GLOW and How Many Dreams? reaching #4 and #3 respectively on the UK album chart.
Renowned for their electrifying live performances, which have seen them command some of the world’s biggest stages, including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass, DMA’S will bring their new album to life on a UK and Ireland headline tour in early 2027. The run kicks off in Southampton on February 1 before taking in Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, Lincoln, York, Liverpool, Sheffield, Belfast and London’s iconic Eventim Apollo on February 12.
