The artist’s relentless work ethic also sees the Nottingham-hailing musician back with a sentimental new single about his hometown, Nottingham, titled ‘Playground’ – one of over 100 new tracks featured on the soundtrack in the latest instalment of the FIFA video game franchise.

“Dog eat dog in my town, this is the playground” Bru-C begins, as he goes on to speak about the varying realities of growing up in regional England. “Get up or stay down” he declares; a statement of intent that shares a passion to make the most of all situations and ride the ups and downs of day to day living. ‘Playground’ lands alongside an incredible visual that sees Bru-C and friends filmed across Nottingham, from the back roads of his residential area to the local shopping centre, and even his beloved Nottingham Forest’s City Ground Stadium.
Speaking on the single, Bru-C states: “I’m gassed to be putting this tune out. This song means a lot to me, it represents where I’m from and who I am more than anything I think I’ve ever put out – both visually and in terms of what I’m saying in the song. With the way Forrest are doing at the minute and with the sentiment of the track, I feel as if this is the perfect time to release it. I hope you all enjoy!”
With a relentless work ethic, the Nottingham-hailing musician is nearing the end of an awe-inspiring 21 date Summer tour, which has seen him playing festivals across the globe, from taking over the main stage at Reading & Leeds, to perhaps most notably in Estonia, which is where he took the chance to film the official video for ‘Say No More’.
