Liverpool's finest Hazey returns with yet another high-tempo drill anthem titled ‘Sturdy’ - released via Capitol UK.
Hazey offers fans another undeniable summer hit. Integrating a high-tempo, bouncy beat with his signature rapid flow, Hazey details the rapper lifestyle from jumping on beats and touring to being a chart topper and shopping in Gucci. The Liverpudlian rapper who is well known for his celebrity and sporting references pays homage to the success of Michael Jordan, Tyson Fury, 21 savage and Rio Ferdinand throughout the track. The Archie Erskine directed video sees Hazey serving his bars in various locations across Liverpool.
‘Sturdy’ continues on from Hazey’s 2022 silver-certified single ‘Packs & Potions’, follow-up track ‘Bringing It Back’ and latest release ‘Welcome To The Strip’.

Emerging to the scene in 2021 with his iconic BLACKB@X’s Hardest U18s Cypher, the 19-year-old sparked one of the first viral trends of 2022 and ignited a social media frenzy, leaving most Tik-Tok users with his catchy bars playing in their heads on repeat. The freestyle became an overnight sensation gaining the attention of all the right ears and went on to be remixed by UK drill giants Digga D, M1llionz and Unknown T.
The Mystery MC who is most commonly known for his heavily accented flow, masked appearance and footballer references has accumulated an impressive 80 million global streams, 15 million YouTube views and a colossal 500 million Tik-Tok impressions, led by his Certified Silver and number 11 chart hit ‘Packs and Potions’. Last year Hazey made his debut performance at Reading and Leeds Festival forming a crowd that grew outside of the BBC 1Xtra tent.
