British singer-songwriter Jack Cullen returns with his first new music of 2026, stirring new single entitled ‘Jessica’, out now via RCA Records.
Written after a late-night conversation with a close friend, ‘Jessica’ explores the weight of life decisions, the pull of love, and the quiet turning points that define us. Rooted in Cullen’s trademark blend of acoustic warmth, the track captures a songwriter increasingly confident in both craft and perspective.
Of the single, Jack says, “Written after a late-night conversation with a close friend, Jessica is about facing the truth, owning my mistakes, and choosing to move forward and fight for something I know to be magical. The song carries a sense of warmth and energy in its hope that it’s never too late to make things right.”

The release follows a breakthrough 18 months for the former professional rugby player-turned-musician. Forced to step away from sport due to injury, Cullen channelled that upheaval into songwriting. What began as personal recovery has evolved into a fast-rising music career built on resilience, endurance and community. His debut EP 12, created alongside an extraordinary fundraising challenge that saw him run an epic 12 marathons in 12 days for cancer research. The experience (and the unbelievable swell of public support) laid the foundation for fan-favourite single ‘All I Need’.
To mark that release, Cullen cycled more than 650 miles from Edinburgh to Glastonbury Festival, staging impromptu performances in run clubs, yoga studios and even cold-water baths along the route, before making his Glastonbury debut to a packed tent and national media attention. He went on to complete a six-date Cornish tour, collaborate with NATURE on a special re-recording of ‘All I Need’ as part of the Sounds Right conservation campaign, and release his seven-track EP Everything via RCA Records.
