Utrecht rock group Kensington share their new single, 'Livin’ For' their first release since their latest Dutch #1 album, First Rodeo, which came out last November.
Like the album, ‘Livin’ For’ was recorded with renowned producer Garth “GGGarth” Richardson at his Farm Studio on Vancouver Island. Richardson is known for his work with artists such as Biffy Clyro and Rage Against the Machine. The track was mixed by Grammy Award-winning mixer Chris Lord-Alge, whose credits include James Brown, Muse, Green Day, and Madonna.
Speaking about the new single, the band said: “‘Livin’ For’ is our heart’s call for everyone to come out—the water is fine. Let’s be as big as we can possibly be, and more. The world will thrive on so many levels when we are all the most ‘us’ we can be. Like a flower that fully blooms, it brings so much to the world around it. We all need each other.”
